The 27th International Festival of Sacred Music will open on 15 August at St. The Festival will open on 15 August at St Peter's Church, where VAK "Latvija" and Sinfonietta Rīga, under the baton of conductor Zbigniew Graca, will perform three masterpieces of Classical and early Romantic music.

The psalm "Wie der Hirsch schreit", considered by both his contemporary and friend, the composer Robert Schumann, and the composer himself as his best work of spiritual content; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Coronation Mass (Krönungsmesse in C major), one of his most brilliant and frequently performed vocal symphonic works. Mozart's Coronation Mass will be performed by young soloists - soprano Elisabad Kereselidze (Georgia), mezzo-soprano Kristine Matveeva, tenor Andris Kiplūk and bass Inmara Sikli.

The virtuosic brilliance of Inga Šļubovská-Kancēviča's voice will be heard both in Mendelssohn's opus and at the end of the concert in Mozart's motet Exsultate, jubilate, whose climax is compared to a jewel that most vividly radiates the ethereal exaltation of Mozart's music.
